Here at Uneeka it has never to been easier to celebrate World Yoga Day! This is because we are lucky enough to have collaborated with “Yoga and Pilates Truro” to create a beautiful Yoga studio on the 2nd Floor of Uneeka Life on Boscawen Street, in Truro City Centre. To celebrate 22nd April, otherwise known as Earth Day, this year the team at Uneeka have gone all out to share the message that Earth Day should be Every Day! We prioritise loving the planet we live on and do all we can to be Eco-Friendly, from supplying recycled newspaper bags in store and reusing packaging from suppliers for our online orders to providing eco-chic furniture and ethically sourced gifts thoughout our stores.

The Yorkshire based brand, The Bottle Baking Company, creates a wide range of baking mixes from vegan brownies to carrot cake flavoured dog food. They're all packed into a 750ml reusable glass bottle and come with easy to read cooking instructions. The master behind this idea, Greg, created the design in his family kitchen back in 2016 and since then, he has been developing the companies entire range of new products at home alongside his wonderful family. Lizzie-May is an artist based in a small village close to Truro, Cornwall. Her work is heavily inspired by nature; painting scenes that include dense botanicals, flowers and interesting gardens. She uses gouache paints along with other mixed media to layer looser brushstrokes along with finer details to capture immersive scenes.      Lizzie-May sells her work under the name ‘Lizzie-May Design’ that includes cards, art prints, enamel pins and more.
