About Us
Fusing ethical craftsmanship with contemporary design.
Thanks for stopping by. We are a small independent, family run retailer with strong ethical values and a passion for all things creative.
Our aim is to bring you high quality and sustainably sourced furniture, contemporary lifestyle goods and accessories, with a first class, personal approach.
A lifestyle made fair
Founder Jodi Skelton began the Uneeka journey in 2004, before ethical and sustainable goods were at the forefront of the industry. Provenance and support for small traders have been a fundamental pillar at Uneeka: ‘We have been working very closely with our suppliers from the outset, something that was an essential part of our vision for the business’.
Uneeka’s products are carefully and thoughtfully sourced, from local Cornish and UK traders to social cooperatives and fair trade enterprises around the world, ensuring a transparent supply chain, prioritising sustainable and ethical sourcing as well as innovation.
We champion traditional and artisan skills
We are proud of our ethos and dedication to forming great, long lasting relationships with both our suppliers and customers, and will continue to build on them as we grow. We truly champion traditional and artisan methods which not only support traders but can inspire new generations;
You’ll discover one off wooden furniture pieces, recycled accessories, handcrafted bags, vegan skincare, natural and organic candles, silver and copper earrings, stylish and durable furnishings, gorgeous lighting and much more in our three Cornish based stores as well as online.
Offering an alternative from impersonal large scale companies, our small team is happy to help guide you and ensure a smooth and happy shopping experience.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please note: we strive to minimise our environmental footprint in our day to day business, repurposing and recycling materials wherever we can; this includes your online orders which are carefully picked and packaged by our team.
