These handbags are made from 100% sheep wool and leather. Wool has natural anti-bacterial properties and naturally resists odours as well as being on of the most sustainable fabrics that can be used. Wool is a renewable and biodegradable material which requires very little water for its production. The colour in these purses are produced using azo-free dyes. 

These handbags are handmade by artisans within a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective in Kathmandu, Nepal. These hand-knitted handbags are made by women who knit the pieces at home, working around their family commitments. This provides them with an income to help their families.
