Our celebrations started back in April, and they were a true reflection of all that makes Uneeka special. We reminisced about our journey and shared it with customers, family, friends, and colleagues through a variety of fun and meaningful events: A treasure hunt around Truro and Falmouth, a heartwarming video with interviews capturing stories from our team, Lucky dips, special offers, collaborations that brought a smile to everyone’s face, and of course our 20 year celebration evening.
At the beginning of the year, we were particularly delighted to see our assistant café manager and artist Jessie, get creative and produce a beautiful 20-year watercolour illustration - a piece that captures all that is at the heart of Uneeka: craft, community, sustainability, and joy.
To celebrate our anniversary, we collaborated with Coffee Notes to bring Jessie’s illustration to life on stunning notebooks — yes, made from recycled coffee cups! These eco-conscious keepsakes carry the spirit of our 20-year journey, letting you take a piece of Uneeka’s story home while keeping sustainability at the heart. You’ll also find the illustration on 100% recycled tote bags, perfect for carrying all your essentials for years to come.
Later in the year, we enjoyed a celebration event with partners, old and new team members, and local businesses where our founder Jodi was presented with the original illustration!

Towards the end of January we paid a visit to one of our long-standing supplier, Paulus & Brown, in Nottingham to see the care and craftsmanship that goes into each of our bespoke sofas. This year, we made several visits, including some behind-the-scenes filming so our customers could see the intricate details that make each piece special. Every sofa is handcrafted in the UK, using materials sourced from within a small radius. Watching the artisans at work reminded us why quality, integrity, and story are at the heart of everything we do. Behind the scene stills form visit.
April saw our Directors Jodi & Carrina visiting India with their daughters to meet new suppliers and ensure every product we source is sustainably made, high quality, and ethically produced. These trips remind us that every piece in our collection has a story worth sharing - and what an incredible experience for the girls - they even got to see how their favourite block prints quilts are created.
We’ve been working closely with designer Charlotte and launched all-new interior design services this year! Whether you need a designer for a day or full-scale design support from the moment you purchase your home, we’re here to help. In May, our Interior Designer Charlotte and Stags collaborated on staged showhomes which brought our pieces to life in beautiful, inspiring ways - showing just how furniture and décor can transform a space and make a home truly feel like home.

At the end of September our web and admin team worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to launch a brand new Uneeka website! Thoughtfully redesigned from the ground up, the new site better reflects our journey, our values, and the services we offer today.
We introduced new pages to tell our story more fully, improved navigation to make browsing and shopping easier, and updated imagery to better showcase our furniture, interiors and lifestyle products. We carefully refined copy, with the added supplier story sections. This was important to us to ensure transparency at every step - from how pieces are made to the people behind them. Of course, it’s always a work in progress. As Uneeka continues to evolve, so will our website, growing and adapting alongside us (we welcome your feedback and would love to hear your thoughts as we continue refining the experience!)
Our café got a lovely refit in the Autumn. We refreshed the décor with a new colour palette to bring energy and light into the space, introduced a new menu with classic favourites given an Uneeka twist, and even started selling our famous parsnip and chilli pickle!
It was truly a team effort, with everyone getting stuck in, from picking up a brush and cleaning, to making new signs. The café now feels brighter, fresher, and more inviting than ever - a place to relax, connect, and enjoy a little slice of Uneeka magic
Just before Christmas we were thrilled to have Jess back from maternity leave this year. Her warmth, energy, and spark remind us that Uneeka is more than a shop. Jess is one of our longest-standing team members and a vital part of keeping everything running smoothly. Now back with her new title as Brand Director, we’re excited for the gorgeous updates she has in the pipeline, watch this space!
We’re proud to support incredible charities and work closely with suppliers who care for their workers and communities. This year, we were able to make additional donations to local charities, including Hidden Help, which supports families in urgent need, and The Wave Project, which offers surf therapy to young people to build confidence and wellbeing. We also continue to support Cornwall Wildlife Trust, helping to protect our local natural environment.
Giving back has always been at the heart of Uneeka, and 2025 was a year we could do a little extra to make a difference.
As we step into 2026, we’re full of gratitude for our team, makers, and customers, and full of excitement for the next chapter of Uneeka.
Here’s to more craft, colour, stories, and joy - for the next 20 years and beyond.
