Ruth's illustrations and paintings are inspired by her beautiful surroundings and everyday life in her hometown of pool in Dorset. In a moment of inspiration, when she was helping her son sharpen all his pencils ready for his new term at school, she saw beauty in the sea off pencil shavings that surrounded her. So she grabbed her scissors and glue along with her cute illustrations and created her first pencil shaving card. Aren’t they just magical !?
