The producer of this product is a small, family-run business in India specialising in upcycling and recycling furniture. They employ 40 skilled workers, including carpenters and artisan painters, offering fair pay in a well-organised, happy workplace. Almost all wood is recycled or sustainably sourced, and they produce no waste, using recycled packaging wherever possible. Committed to social and environmental responsibility, they support local charities for blind students, homeless children, and animals. Their practices align with the 10 Principles of Fair Trade set by the WFTO.
Please Note: Due to our jewellery boxes being handpainted each one is one of a kind, with its own distinctive markings and natural areas of cracked paint that add to its unique character.
