This piece is crafted using the traditional sandcasting process with stainless steel. First, a mould is carefully formed from sand before the stainless steel is heated until molten and poured into place. Once cooled, the cast piece is removed, revealing the unique textures and organic variations created by the process. Because sandcasting naturally produces a less uniform surface, each piece features subtle irregularities and a beautifully raw character. Finally, it is finished with an antique brass coating, enhancing its warm, timeless appeal.
