Scilly Isles Storage Unit

This lovely storage unit is part of a wider collection which has all been crafted from reclaimed pine. All the timber is carefully assessed and then crafted using traditional woodworking techniques, to give the rustic country feel that fits into traditional and modern settings. The nature of the wood gives all elements a wonderful vintage, traditional styling, emphasised by the historic worm holes, splits and irregular marks in the grain. The use of reclaimed timber creates a positive impact on the environment, reusing materials that could otherwise go to waste, increasing the element of additional resources and water usage. Reclaimed pine emphasises the beauty of nature, and the detail specifically within this wood. Pine is a beautifully easy timber to work with a multitude of interiors and aesthetic styles.

This unique storage unit comprises of six equal sized cubby holes in a uniform matter. It's complemented with three equal sized drawers in the middle, the unique element about this bookshelf is that all of the shelves can be accessed from both sides which would make it a great feature for a room partitioning, where only one side can access the drawers, creating a very person interior style. Or alternatively against a coloured wall where the colour will shine through the gaps and tie everything in beautifully. Its on tapered solid legs, the same materials as the frame, similarly to the handles to create a seamless piece, which complements a multitude of interior aesthetics.
