Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America. 

This magnificent Louisiana Heron print is an absolute gem. The blue colour really stands out and one can not help but be mesmerized by it.  

The original image dates back to the 18th century and has been digitally restored to its former glory.

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in Copenhagen, Denmark.
