Small Indra Semi-Precious Stone Embossed Leather Journal
Fair Trade embossed and stitched semi-precious leather journals are truly items of desire and make for a great diary, travel journal, inspiration book or notebook.
Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand. The leather used for the cover is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes. Protected with natural oils, it will soften and age beautifully. The embossing on the covers has been done with small individual handmade tools making each album unique. The embossed pattern might not be the same as on the image but will be just as lovely and carefully made.
Black Onyx stone symbolises healing, protection, decisiveness, and strength. The semi-precious stones stitched onto these journals are unique by nature so they may differ.
Each journal is handmade and contains unlined khadda paper. Khadda paper is made from recycled cotton, is acid-free and is a beautiful paper to write or draw on.
