Handmade In India on a fair trade basis by a small family firm in Kolkata. The business employs 25 workers, 20 in the main workshop and 15 home workers who find the work a useful income supplement while allowing them to attend to the needs of their families. The home workers are mainly ladies who carry out the hand painting work. This extra income enables the artisans to become more self-sufficient and independent.
